- Operating in crane mode gap training
- Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, released a statement recently saying that its ability to process gap competency assessments, for a number of earthmoving and particular crane certificates, came to an end on 30 June.
- Dogging work out for crane operators
- WH&S has advised on its website, that as from August 30 an employer must not allow a person in charge of and/or operating a mobile crane (slewing/non-slewing), to also undertake their own dogging work or supervise a trainee dogger, even if the operator is also a licensed dogger.
