Hyundai believes enhancements like its exclusive improved Computer Aided Power Optimisation (CAPO) management system, will ensure the success of its new Robex Dash 7 series of excavators that have just arrived in the country.
Improvements include new mode controls for better efficiency and flexibility, and a self-diagnostic display that provides technical information for 48 distinct functions.
In addition, the latest Cummins tier II engines, designed to comply with tough American/European EPA standards, also offer reduced fuel consumption. Other features include completely redesigned cabins, made for optimal operator comfort and control, and enhanced hydraulics for longer component life.
The CAPO system allows the individual to customise power, work, and user modes to fit specific job site requirements, with the touch of a button.
The power mode allows for high power or standard power, the work mode for heavy, general or breaker work, and the user mode memorises an individual's preferences.
In addition to these modes, a CPU controlled self-diagnosis system LCD monitor, enhances operator confidence and performance. The CAPO system maintains optimum levels of engine performance and pump control, so only the amount of oil necessary for maintaining high operating pressure and speed is generated and used. As a result the system guarantees greater operator efficiency, lower fuel consumption and quieter operation.
With the new model, the cab has been widened and ventilation improved, sound levels lowered and larger rear and side windows installed. The seat is fully adjustable and the console boxes slide forward and backward for improved accessibility. New joystick grips with double switches give more precise control. The undercarriage includes track rail guides and adjusters, a reinforced box section with all-welded, low-stress, high-strength steel for greater performance. The durability of the excavator's structure is proven through the FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis and long term durability tests.
