Caterpillar added five machines to its B series lineup of skid steer and multi terrain loaders.
The B-Series line-up comprises nine skid steer loaders and 4 multi-terrain loaders with operating capacities from 635 to 1632 kg. It includes the all-new 268B HF XPS – a high performance, vertical lift skid steer loader that combines the size of the 1224 kg capacity 262B and the high-flow hydraulic system of the 248B HF XPS and the 287B, a 1632 kg capacity multi-terrain loader that features a high-flotation rubber track undercarriage and a vertical lift loader arrangement.
The 268B HF XPS and 287B, like all the new B-series models, feature an EU stage II emissions-compliant engine that is turbocharged on all models apart from the 216B and 232B, for increased engine response and improved productivity.
Other B-Series enhancements include a new contoured door giving improved visibility and space, a more ergonomic armrest, simplified hose and electrical harness routings, and improved service access under the cab. The larger models are also offered with an optional air conditioner.
Mustang had the 1290kg 2012 on display as well as the 2022 and 2032. Gehl had the new 40 series to replace the 35 series and there are four machines in the range from the 750kg capacity SL4640 to the 1225kg capacity SL6640. Also the biggest machine, the SL7810 has been upgraded from the 7800 and has a rated capacity of 1800kg.
Bobcat had new versions of its T180 and T190 compact tracked loaders powered by new emission compliant Kubota diesel engines.
Komatsu introduced a prototype of a new crawler-type skid steer loader, the CK1122-5. It complements the company's existing line-up of 10 skid steer loaders and is in many ways like Komatsu's state-of-the-art SK1020-5 wheeled version.
This new loader has Komatsu's hydraulic closed load sensing system (CLSS), which guarantees progressive control and smoothness in all movements. This system also combines power and speed to match the work at hand. The machine features a Super Flow hydraulics system that increases the flow of available oil to the work equipment and delivers extra power when and where it's needed.
