Grammer has developed Primo premium seats, specifically for operators of compact construction equipment, who want more comfort on the job.

They feature very low profile air suspension that travels just 110mm. However the company claims it will absorb the roughest jolts.

Incorporating a 12V compressor, the seat can be set quickly and easily to the operator's weight using a front mounted switch. A mechanical suspension is also available and it travels just 80mm. Settings can be varied between 45 and 170kg.

Also, the company says a new assymetrical backrest makes driving backwards a more comfortable experience. That means the seat provides more elbow room on the right hand side and full back support on the left side.

For sensitive lower backs, the seat has adjustable lumbar support which “pleasantly buttresses” the back, Grammer says.

Options include moveable armrests, an integrated restraint system, adjustable backrest height, a document box behind the seat and a seat contact switch.
