Selwood's Spate PD75 pumps are widely recognised as ideal oil spill recovery pumps, according to Australian distributor Toolkwip.
Double diaphragm, induced flow pumps, with inbuilt pressure regulators to help a strong, non turbulent flow, they have excellent automatic priming with lifts of up to 9.1m. Two models come with inlet/outlet ports of 75 and 100mm.
They can run dry indefinitely without damage and they have excellent air handling characteristics.
They can pump fluids from water to thick oil, have a stonecatcher accessory and can be powered by diesel, petrol or hydraulic motors.
Applications range from recovering oil spills through fuel oil transfers to working on sewage lagoons.
