Ssangyong cuts Musso prices

Korean car maker Ssangyong has cut the price of its dual cab 2WD Musso Sports to $23,990. As a 4WD it is priced from $27,990.

Thanks to its high efficiency European designed 2.7 litre, five-cylinder turbo diesel engine, the 2wd returns combined city/highway fuel consumption of 9.1 l/100km, which translates to around 31mpg from its turbo diesel.

This would mean fuel costs of less than $50 a week based on an annual average of 20,000km given current diesel cost of $1.35 a litre.

According to Ssangyong Australia general manager sales and marketing, Brad Larkham, “Musso Sport is a genuine seven day a week work and play ute which can cart tools and building supplies during the week, transport the family on Saturday and tow the boat for fishing on Sunday,” said Brad Larkham.

“Importantly its owners have more money in their pockets to enjoy leisure time thanks to the lower purchase price and reduced fuel consumption,” he added.

Musso Sports is a full size five sweater and boasts the largest rear cabin in its class allowing the family or the work crew to travel in comfort while a 50/50 split folding rear seat and full velour upholstery enhances the interior.

It has a towing capacity of up to 2.5t and is equipped with a limited slip diff and traction control as well as standard ABS anti lock brakes with four wheel discs.

A tough ute tub liner adds to the its practicality as well as making it easy to clean and durable.

Musso Sports comes with a full three year 100,000km warranty as well as Ssangyong Assist – 24/7 Roadside assistance.
