Clark expands Champion grader range to five

Following the recent introduction of the first Champion compact grader in Australia and New Zealand, the C80C, Clark Equipment has expanded the line by offering four more models.

The range now includes two models of all-wheel-drive graders, one rear-wheel-drive model and three tandem-drive units. With this range, Clark expects they will suit more operators working in confined construction sites, where larger graders experience difficulty in manoeuvring, and access with the additional advantage of a lower capital outlay and operating costs

Clark says Champion C series compact graders lead the industry in grading power, precision and durability. Every engineering detail counts, from easy service access, to a rugged tool carrying frame, to fully-certified braking systems. “From small to big, consistent manufacturing processes meet the standards necessary to ensure that customers enjoy performance, reliability and design-for-purpose,” the company adds.

Big ideas

At Champion, big ideas are at work in all C Series graders – every manufacturing step builds in big quality, every feature has big benefits, and every option adds big payback for owners and operators.

There is a full range of blade and wheel mobility on the graders, featuring precise and stable blade control, twin-cylinder circle turn, and a wide stance blade lift system. The cab layout mirrors those found in much bigger machines, with industry-standard pedestal and levers and lots of room to go to work.

Fully tested quiet ROPS cabs with HVAC are also available. Rounding out the big feeling are Tier 3 emissions-certified engines from Cummins and fully certified braking systems.

The hydrostatic all-wheel-drive C66 and C86 models, use separate hydraulics for power through turns, and in all situations requiring superior traction to ensure there is no loss of power to the wheels. This includes the ability to disengage the tandems and let them freewheel while being powered by the two front wheels with hydrostatic drive.

Options and attachments include scarifiers, rippers, dozer blades, brooms , rollers, tampers, blade control systems and counter weights.
