Mini trencher bins grazed shins, bad backs

Bad backs, skinned knuckles or grazed shins caused by hand digging under fences and other structures, can be eliminated by working Augertorque’s trencher and Takeuchi’s TB 016 mini excavator from the comfort of a padded seat.

Semco says the combination is an ideal solution for contract plumbers, drainers, gasfitters electricians and communications cablers.
The TB016 is designed to access sites as narrow as 1m, while the Augertorque trenching attachment, has the capability to produce a trench 600mm deep and 100mm wide.
According to Semco, the combination represents a breakthrough in compact trenching and will appeal to contractors and rental companies that already have TB 016 trenchers in their fleet.
The company says little time is needed to learn to operate the attachment which removes the tedium of hand digging access pits and sump holes.
Operation is said to be very quiet, and the Combo chain supplied, can handle tough ground conditions with ease. The swing boom on the TB016 allows the operator to manipulate the trencher into otherwise inaccessible positions, to virtually eliminate handwork. These machines can even be used to run hand held hydraulic tools such as jackhammers, cut-off saws and submersible pumps.
Semco says substantial labour costs can be saved by a typical contractor and the equipment can be financed through Semco Financial from a few hundred dollars a week to approved purchasers by calling 1300 742 044 for an obligation free finance quote.
