Tractor-scraper system slashes $/m moved by two thirds

— filed under:

Unlike self-propelled scrapers or truck and excavator systems, John Deere says its tractor scraper system can move the same material, if not more, using a third of the capital investment, a third of the operating costs, half the labour, and a third of the fuel.

And when your tractor is not pulling scrapers, you can put it to work pulling other implements, making it another good reason, to purchase the John Deere solution for earthmoving jobs.
The companys heavy duty ejector scrapers come in a variety of sizes. The 1512E, ideal for precision-levelling, has a heaped capacity of 11.8m with a 3.6m wide cut. The 1810E has a 13.9m capacity again with a 3m cut. At the top, 1814E and 2112E scrapers hold 13.7m and 16m respectively.
With the new and exclusive optional AutoLoad scraper control system, earthmovers can work even more efficiently and consistently, by automating the scrapers hydraulic-lift functions to suit draft load, wheel slippage and soil conditions. It can be factory or field installed on John Deere 9030 tractors and any of the scrapers.
