Rebar gauge proves popular

To coincide with its Reo wire gauge, OneSteel Reinforcing has created the Reo bar gauge. |

The rugged, pocket sized, hard plastic disc, was developed to help anyone involved with reinforcing steel, to confirm key 500Plus® Rebar sizes, either as loose bar or prefabricated products. The gauge fits N10, N12, N16, N20, N24, N28 and N32 rebar.
“The wire gauge has proved to be extremely popular with builders, architects, engineers, certifiers and students, which is why we created a new disc to incorporate our range of rebar,” said OneSteel Reinforcing marketing services manager David Zorzi.
“When working with rebar in similar diameters, even if you are working with it every day, it helps to have an accurate gauge to avoid mistakes,” David said. And if you want to use it off site, the underside has a built-in bottle opener, he said.
