“As well as their unique and patented double reverse system, that allows complete mix control directly from the cabin, the DB 260 SL has been completely restyled and delivers upgraded performance, speed and stability,” said Semco’s Dave Freeburn.
“Wider wheels and a longer wheel-base have made it more solid on the ground. A new turbo engine with increased hydrostatics, combines electrohydraulic gears with new axles, to make the DB 260 SL the fastest self-propelled, self-loading mixer on the market. A larger capacity 56cc Rexroth high-pressure pump adds to the mixer’s responsiveness.
“The improved comfort of its new cabin and interior make it safer and more practical. Operators will be pleased with the cabin’s upholstered doors as well as the ergonomically considerate shovel commands. Joysticks replace control levers, and the servo-commands that manage shovel, loading arms and rotating drum, further enhance the DB 260 SL’s ease of use,” Freeburn said.
Water and fuel tanks are in polyethylene to prevent formation of rust residues or clogging deposits.
The DB 260 SL has a road speed of 30km/h, while handling and stability has been improved through the use of bigger tyres, 150mm longer wheel-base and lengthened arch.
