Hewlett distributes Wacker excavators, skidsteers

Wacker Neuson has appointed Queensland based Hewlett Equipment as the main distributor for its excavators and skidsteers in Australia. |
|
Particularly new to Australia are seven Austrian made WN excavators, in four weight categories in Plant Specs, from up to one tonne to 7.5t. Overseas 15 models are available weighing up to 11.5t.
Unique among them locally is the 1.94t 2003VDS which features a vertical digging system. That tilts the excavator chassis to compensate for sloping or uneven ground. VDS is also offered on the 2.8t 28z3 and the 3.8t 38z3. All are powered by Yanmar engines ranging from 9.6 to 42.5kW.
WN has also introduced skidsteers to the Australian market and again seven is the magical number ranging in weight between 1.8 and 4.45t.
Payloads range from 510kg for the 501S to 1.15t for the 1101c and 1101cp. Some are powered by Yanmar diesels but the two 901 and two 1101, models have Deutz diesels driving them.
Hewlett has key branches in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne
