Hyundai’s latest 21 tonner has 15% more power

Hyundai Heavy Industries unveiled its new 21t wheel excavator, the Robex 210W, in December.

Equipped with fuel-saving auto cruise, and a safe rear camera, the new model also features DMB (digital media broadcasting) so that operators can watch TV during break times.
Following positive feedback, from the release of its 14t wheel excavator last April, Hyundai expects to expand its sales volume with this new model.
The 210W has a maximum speed of 35km/h, and an auto ram lock function, which stabilises vehicle movement while operating. With installation of an eco-friendly tier 3 engine, it significantly reduces emissions of carbon monoxide and fine dust.
The model’s power generating capacity is improved 15% more than the previous model. The tier 3 engine also meets recently enacted gas emission regulations in Korea, the US and the E.U.
