Terex’s Powerscreen has launched its Warrior 2400, a dual power, heavy duty, tracked mobile screener.

A multi-purpose unit, it is capable of handling large feed sizes while remaining convenient to move and transport. It features a heavy duty incline screen, with a high amplitude triple shaft drive mechanism, lending itself to several tasks.
They include screening, scalping, 2 or 3 way splitting and stockpiling materials like aggregates, topsoil, coal, construction and demolition waste and iron ore. As the screen will accept a wide variety of media, making it suitable for many applications, the company hopes it will build on the global success of the smaller 1400 and 1800 models.
Set-up time and ease of operation are aided by hydraulic folding tail and side conveyors, 2-speed tracks, a slide-out tail conveyor facility to aid media access, and a load sensing collection conveyor circuit to avoid blockages.
The company claims it has a simple-to-use electrical control system, which allows operators to monitor and diagnose problems on site without specialist tools, via an LCD display.
It will be exhibited at the bauma exhibition in Munich from April 19 to 25 at stand F704/705.
