US post driver distributed Australia wide
Bendigo based Peerless Products is to distribute the Man Saver post driver, a US made air-powered fence post driver, through 1500 outlets around the country.
With various adapters, it will drive almost any shaped post on the market, up to 9cm in diameter.
The driver is being retailed in Australia for about $1800, and can be bundled with a 4kW Honda engine powered Peerless made air compressor, for about $3950.
Peerless’ national marketing manager Andrew Healey said, “Peerless has been making air compressors for 50 years. We are very proud of the quality of the products that we market and we believe the quality of the Man Saver post driver is first class too.”
He said Peerless had been interested in a “Star picket driver,” but had found others to be expensive and difficult to manoeuvre on-site. It discovered Rohrer’s Man Saver through an online search.
