Comfort and power are priorities for Takeuchi

It’s no secret that a safe, comfortable and responsive work environment can add to greater productivity in the earthmoving business. |

Takeuchi's TB228 makes comfort a big priority
Recognising the demand for safety, combined with comfort, ease of operation and responsive controls, Takeuchi says its new TB228 full hydraulic compact excavator has been designed for stress-free, day long operation. Further comfort is delivered in the form of a multi-adjustable suspension seat with large, adjustable arm rests and a retractable seat belt.
A high visibility certified ROPS/FOPS cabin that is 12 percent wider than its earlier models is mounted on an isolation platform to minimise ground-effect vibration. Also, there is a quick release that fully tilts the cab for easy servicing access.
The excavator’s more positive and smoother ground engagement has been achieved by short pitch rubber tracks and double flanged track rollers that increase roller to rail contact. Working controls include a proportional auxiliary hydraulic control; push button decel system; a conveniently located two-speed travel switch with automatic step-down travel motors and cushioned boom swing cylinders.
There is a large range of options for the TB228 excavator to cater for different applications. For more information visit: www.takeuchi.com
