SkillsTech Australia is Queensland’s largest trade and technician training TAFE institute and Institute Director Mary Campbell said it was a significant milestone today which marked the completion of the Automotive Precinct for the Acacia Ridge Training Centre.
“This new facility will support approximately 900 light auto vehicle students and we plan to work with industry and the community to grow this significantly over the next five years. This new start-of-the-art facility will be home to light automotive trades, including auto mechanical, engine reconditioning and automotive electrical.
“There are also a range of sustainability initiatives utilising a diverse range of specialist design knowledge with increased savings from the management of carbon emissions, this facility further adds to the extensive capability of SkillsTech Australia.
