Lindner is new Case leader for Victoria

Case Construction has appointed Mark Lindner as dealer principal, Case Victoria, Dandenong.

Selected because of his ability to take the business to the next level and a long history with the brand, Lindner has spent the past 18 years working with Case construction and Case IH agricultural equipment. “Throughout my career, I've worked with dealerships on many levels and this has helped me understand the factors that lead to success or failure. I understand the financial side and the importance of focusing on internal management procedures and structures combined with marketing and customer support.

“I'm excited at the prospect of joining the Case Victoria team and look forward to overseeing what I expect will become the flagship outlet. For our customers this means even better service,” Lindner said.

Since he last worked with the company, the product offering has grown considerably. “To build on that, we will be listening to what our customers want and providing this feedback to the Case team of product development specialists.”

Lindner's career in machinery sales began with Case in 1988 as a Victorian sales manager. He progressed through the company's ranks to hold a number of key positions including national sales manager and major accounts manager in the early '90s. In 1996, he moved to the agricultural side as business manager for southern NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, responsible for the company's wholesale activities through 50 privately owned dealerships.

In taking over the new role, Lindner acknowledged the hard work of Kris Mietus, who stepped in to manage the business in June in a caretaker role. Kris will now solely focus on his role of commercial business manager for Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and South Australia.

Lindner also acknowledged the hard work of the Dandenong-based staff. “They have really stuck together in this transition, working hard to maintain stability within the business and providing support our customers can rely on. Looking forward I anticipate that our staff numbers will grow over the next year.”
