Steve Cartwright

Atlas Copco Construction Tools and Dynapac Australia, will be run under common administration and management as of January 1, 2009. The divisions will operate under the name of Atlas Copco Construction Equipment Australia.
The objective of this change is to better serve the road and general construction sector along with hire and rental industries. It will focus on maximising branch and sales infrastructure to deliver the best sales, aftermarket support and productivity solutions.
GM of Dynapac Australia Steve Cartwright, will also take on the role of GM of the newly formed ACCEA.
Cartwright said the products of both divisions, are known and accepted for their high performance and quality, and fit together extremely well.
We will be able to make a wider offering to our existing and new customers and distributors through our combined specialist sales and after market organisation, he said.
The 65 personnel of the two operations - half are employed in technical service support - will continue to carry out their existing functions, but will operate from the same premises, and use the synergies that come from a largely common customer base and target market.
The Dynapac and Atlas Copco names will be retained in the new organisation which will be headquartered in Sydney and supported from existing Dynapac branch locations in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
