Atlas Copco invests in new Australian HQ

Atlas Copco Construction Equipment, the newest division of Atlas Copco Australia, has moved into new regional headquarters in Seven Hills, Sydney.

The new division encompasses the Dynapac road construction equipment business, and the Atlas Copco construction tools business, to bring a broader offering of the company’s construction products and services under one roof. It also will house hydraulic attachments dealer, Rock Tools & Equipment.
Located at Building G, 22 Powers Road, Seven Hills, the new facility has large service workshops and warehousing facilities. The telephone number is 02 8805 6311. According to GM of ACCEA Steve Cartwright, “We will be able to offer our customers the sophisticated service solutions they’ve come to expect from us.”
Customers will also be able to view the range of equipment for both businesses in the one premises, something interstate customers have been able to do for a few months with Atlas Copco Construction Tools now operating from the existing Dynapac facilities in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Atlas Copco had 33,000 employees in more than 160 markets in 2007.
