After 20 years MiniQuip spins off a franchising division

West Australian compact equipment hire company MiniQuip, is selling its 20-year old business model, as franchises. Currently it is focusing on a strong advertising strategy to promote the business to a Perth metropolitan clientele.

The franchising model will allow franchisees to operate their own earthmoving companies under the reputable MiniQuip name, whilst having full access to company resources including group marketing and administration.
Administration will be managed by head office, allowing franchisees to get outside and into their projects. As an additional benefit, franchisees will be given job leads and onsite training, before starting work, with the freedom to quote their own work to create extra revenue.
In house, management consists of experienced staff, who have worked within the industry for more than 20 years. Corporate business consultants have been recruited to lay the foundations of a strong and successful franchise operation. Franchisees will benefit extensively from the depth of experience from the staff and find comfort in knowing their franchise is managed by a team of industry professionals, the company says.
Specialising in all facets of compact earthmoving including demolition, waste removal, concrete pool excavations, landscaping and road works, the company has extensive experience in the WA earthmoving market and has forged strong working relationships within the construction, building, mining and commercial sector.
“As a company, we have been working behind the scenes for the last two years setting up the corporate infrastructure for franchising,” says MD John Fenton. “We see franchising as a great tool for expansion, with many people dedicated to promoting MiniQuip the brand. Above all, we want to provide the right resources and training to ensure a successful outcome for every franchise investor.”
The MiniQuip hire fleet, consists of low hour, high quality equipment. The workshop is managed by a team of experienced mechanics who ensure every item is well maintained. It includes 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5.5, 8 and 14t excavators, rubber track loaders, skidsteers, 3, 6 and 10m³ tip trucks, various plant trailers and a large variety of specialist attachments.
