Chinese contract ushers in new resource era

A contract signed in Beijing between BG Group and the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) to supply 72 million tonnes of LNG (liquefied natural gas) over 20 years to China, has launched a new export era and new resource industry for Queensland and an unprecedented sale for Australia.
