Semco offers unique four year warranty on Takeuchi equipment

Semco has launched an optional four year/4000 hour warranty on all new Takeuchi equipment sold in NSW and the ACT.

Semco’s Satch Santilli said the standard warranty was two years; on a 1.5t machine it could be doubled for about an extra $700.
Under applicable conditions of Semco’s P4 Power Protection Plan, parts and labour are fully covered in the price of each new machine – excluding attachments – for four years or 4000 hours whichever occurs first.
In the event of the original purchaser selling the equipment while the P4 Protection is current, the optional plan is transferable to the new owner, adding value to the new buyer’s investment.
The plan applies to all major items that are normally covered under the manufacturer’s new equipment warranty. These include engine, power train, hydraulics, cooling and electrics. No other distributor offered four year warranties of those in Australia, Santilli said.
The P4 warranty is signified by a logo stamp that appears on all Takeuchi equipment where the plan has been purchased. Full details and conditions are included in the P4 Warranty Application.
Semco imports, distributes, finances, insures, rents and services, in addition to Takeuchi, Astec trenchers, Terex backhoes and rollers and Fiori mobile mixers and dumpers.
