Perth City Link vision takes shape

Another significant milestone has been reached in the Perth City Link project with the start of a $10 million works program, including an extension of Milligan Street to provide access to Perth Arena parking and improve connectivity and movement throughout the area. |

These works are the first step in delivering five new connections between the city centre and Northbridge, bringing the two areas together for the first time in more than 100 years and improving pedestrian and vehicle movement.
The new space will incorporate public artworks and water features, conveying a distinctly Australian theme in the choice of materials and tree planting, to welcome visitors to Perth’s newest sports and entertainment venue.
While the $10 million works package has created significant employment in itself, the completed Perth City Link is expected to create 13,500 jobs in 244,000sqm of commercial and retail space.
It will also provide 1,650 apartments for more than 3,000 new city residents and attract more than $3 billion of private investment into Western Australia.
