Strong growth continues for Viewpoint

Receiving high marks for its V6 integrated software suite and capitalising on industry buzz around the new 6.4 release of its revamped Project Management module, the company says that software sales revenue grew an unprecedented 86% in Q3, compared to the same period in 2010.

Year-to-date growth was equally strong coming in 66% higher than the same period in 2010. According to Jim Paulson, Chief Operating Officer, “Viewpoint continues to experience record software sales revenue growth and the excitement around the project management capabilities built into the 6.4 release is gaining momentum in the marketplace. Not only did we see an 86% growth in new software sales this quarter, new customer counts through September equaled the total number of customers added all of last year.” Paulson emphasized that the company’s success is a direct result of Viewpoint continuing to invest throughout the economic downturn in its people, product development, and services.

Viewpoint’s future looks even brighter and the company is ramping up recruitment in key areas to prepare for even more growth in 2012. A major factor in 2011’s success was having a clear staffing plan in place to prepare for rapid growth. By putting training programs in place and increasing the employee base from 150 to 235 across all functional areas over the past two years, Viewpoint was able to bring 6.4 to the market, increase overall sales revenue, and ensure it still has room to grow.

One barometer of this is the fact that Viewpoint’s customer satisfaction scores are also at an all-time high – a testament to its continued investment in its product and people. Moving towards year end, Viewpoint is seeing even more growth on the horizon as they roll out the next highly anticipated components of 6.4 including its new Service Management module.
