The 2012-13 Budget has everyone talking
The Government has announced a Budget surplus of $1.5bn for 2012-13, the surplus is forecast to rise to $2bn in 2013- 14 and to $5.3bn for the following year.
No tax cuts a blow for contractors
The Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) today voiced its disappointment that the proposed tax cuts won’t be proceeding.
Money for skills welcomed
The Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) has welcomed further spending on skills and skills training in a tough budget environment. In particular the CCF was pleased to see additional funding for the National Workforce Development Fund (NWDF) to support mature aged workers to upskill and reskill.
